Honda Civic 2023 Overview

The 10th-generation Honda Civic, commonly known as the Civic X, has been replaced in the North American market by the new 11th-generation Civic after five years of production.

The Honda Civic is manufactured by the Pakistani automobile manufacturer Honda and the Pakistani subsidiary of Atlas Honda.

The first Honda Civic was launched worldwide in 1972 and featured a 1,169 cc water-cooled four-cylinder engine with front electric disc brakes.

The second generation Honda Civic was launched in 1979 and classified as the 1980 model. It had an angular shape, more interior space, and better engine power.

Previously, the Civic was a compact car, and since 2000 it has been classified as a compact car.

The third generation was introduced worldwide in September 1983 for the 1984 model year. The new model had a more sophisticated design that was not only roomier inside but also had a larger wheelbase.

The fourth generation Honda Civic was launched in September 1987 with a new and improved design.

The fifth generation Honda Civic was introduced in September 1991 for the 1992 model year. The redesigned Civic featured increased dimensions that increased interior space as well as the overall size of the vehicle.

The sixth generation Honda Civic was introduced to the world market in September 1995 for the 1996 model year. It had an updated and bold design that instantly became popular all over the world.

The seventh generation of the Honda Civic came with some changes in the exterior appearance of the car and some other changes in the interior.

The eighth generation Honda Civic was launched worldwide in September 2005 but came to Pakistan in 2006. It had an amazing 1.8L engine with 140 HP with more displacement and power than the previous models.

The ninth-generation Honda Civic was launched globally in 2011 but came to Pakistan in 2012. It came with a 1.8L engine and Eco Assist technology.

The 10th generation Honda Civic hit the international market in 2015 with a new design language as well as cleaner, more powerful, and more efficient engines.

The 11th generation Civic is a hybrid of the 10th and 11th generations of the Six and Accords.

Honda will debut the redesigned Civic sedan in April 2022, while the hatchback variant will be phased out in June 2022.

In North America, both sedan and hatchback variants are available for purchase, with additional foreign markets soon to follow.

The new Honda Civic 2023 has a stylish design language with a new generation-style front grille. The front of the car has daytime running lights with an auto-off timer.

Halogen projector headlamps are standard on the Standard and Aurel variants, while LED headlamps are standard on the RS variant.

The Civic RS also features automatic headlights, automatic headlight adjustment, and automatic high beams.

The new Civic RS also gets front fog lights and a panoramic sunroof, which is not available on the base models.

One-touch Lane blinkers, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, lens-type tail lamps, electrically adjustable door mirrors, and remote retractable mirrors are also standard across all variants.

The interior of the eleventh-generation Honda Civic 2023 is designed to be comfortable and spacious.

The urethane-reinforced steering wheel is wrapped in the Standard and Orel versions, but leather on the RS model. The new Civic is equipped with dual automatic air conditioning and rear ventilation.

The steering wheel has tilt and telescopic adjustments as well as steering switches. Steering switches in the Standard and Prile variants provide access to the voice controls, MID, and cruise control, while a switch in the RS variant also provides access to the voice recognition controls. A 7-inch TFT multi-information display is located behind the steering wheel.

Honda Civic 2023 seats are made of high-quality fabric. The seats are adjustable and have back pockets. Cup holders are located on the front and rear armrests.

Standard and Oriel Civic variants come with the M-CVT transmission while the RS variant comes with the LL-CVT transmission.
