The 10th-generation Honda Civic, commonly known as the Civic X, has been replaced in the North American market by the new 11th-generation Civic after five years of production.

The Honda Civic is manufactured by the Pakistani automobile manufacturer Honda and the Pakistani subsidiary of Atlas Honda.
The first Honda Civic was launched worldwide in 1972 and featured a 1,169 cc water-cooled four-cylinder engine with front electric disc brakes.
The second generation Honda Civic was launched in 1979 and classified as the 1980 model. It had an angular shape, more interior space, and better engine power.
