Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former prime minister Imran Khan on Wednesday once again appealed to the nation to be ready for a long march towards Islamabad, according to Pakistan’s analysis reports.
Addressing the PTI Workers Convention in Lahore, Imran Khan said that his party would celebrate the 27th of Ramadan (a possible Shab-e-Qadr) as “Shab Dua” (night of prayers) and urged all Pakistanis to Join PTI Shab Barat prayer for “real freedom of Pakistan”.
The former prime minister Imran Khan also asked the party representatives to launch a public campaign at the level of union councils in their constituencies to prepare for the party’s Islamabad March. “I want 2 million people to reach Islamabad on my call to Protest against Imported Government,” he added.
Imran Khan said that he would address a rally in Multan on Friday and would intensify his public relations campaign after Eid-Ul-Fitr.
Targeting the Prime Minister, the PTI chief said: “Shahbaz Sharif is looking for another NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance) and if he manages to get NRO 2 again, Pakistan will never be able to He will not be able to stand on his feet. “
