Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have asked party workers and supporters to take to the streets against the possible arrest of former prime minister and party chief Imran Khan.
The call was made after a terrorism case was registered against PTI Chairman Imran for allegedly threatening Additional Sessions Judge of the federal capital Zeba Chaudhry on the complaint of Islamabad President Magistrate Ali Javed.
The First Information Report (FIR), a copy was lodged after Imran Khan’s speech at a PTI rally at F9 Park in Margalla police station at 10 pm on Saturday. Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act is also mentioned in the FIR.

PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi while talking to the media asked the party workers to be ready and wait for the party’s call to protest in case of Imran’s arrest.
He said that he has concerns that the coalition government is planning to arrest the party chief, that Imran is our red line and conspirators will have to face the consequences.
Similarly, PTI leaders Farrukh Habib and Hamad Azhar also asked workers to gather at Liberty Chowk in Faisalabad and Lahore respectively to thwart the “imported government’s” efforts to arrest Imran.
Former federal minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that if Imran Khan is arrested by the imported government, we will occupy Islamabad and my message to the police is to not be a part of this political war, otherwise [we] will kill you. Meanwhile, videos shared on social media showed PTI workers arriving at Imran’s residence accompanied by firebrand leader Murad Saeed on a motorcycle.
In a tweet, senior PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry requested workers to reach Imran’s Bani Gala residence, saying dozens of workers were already present at his house. He further said that in a few hours, thousands of people will be in Bani Gala, God willing.
